A frog without a clock

 

Mary sat at the restaurant table and ordered mineral water.

A small frog passed by and asked:

"Please, miss. What time is it now? I left my watch at home."

"It's fifteen to eight," Mary replied.

"Thank you," said the frog, jumping up towards the bathroom.

"It's the first time in my life that I've seen a frog without a watch," Mary thought. He took a sip of mineral water and asked the waiter for a bread with mozzarella.

"John is late," she thought as the rain outside increased.
